The Buffalo Bills will visit the Miami Dolphins in Week 10 at Hard Rock Stadium with a big win on the line
For this AFC East battle between Sean McDermott’s Bills (6-2) Mike McDaniel’s Dolphins (2-7), it will be the games, within the game, that will make all the difference.
Here are Bills Wire’s three key matchups to watch during Week 10’s Bills at Dolphins game:
WR Keon Coleman vs. CB Jack Jones
The Bills have not had much success with the outside passing game. Even for how well quarterback Josh Allen played in last week’s win against the Kansas City Chiefs, he couldn’t get the ball out there.
The Dolphins’ secondary does not have many intimidating players in that area. This is a good week for Coleman to find some confidence. Pro Football Focus only has Jones down for a coverage grade of 48.0 in 2025. That’s good for their 100th best cornerback coverage grade in the NFL this season out of 109 qualifying players. Brutal.
OL Dion Dawkins vs. DE Bradley Chubb
The Dolphins ended up trading pass rusher Jaelan Phillips prior to the 2025 NFL trade deadline. That leaves Bradley Chubb as one of their only true pass-rush threats that Dawkins should manage to shut down.
LB Terrel Bernard vs. RB De’Von Achane
Achane had a positive game against the Bills defense in Week 3. He averaged 5.2 yards per carry and made seven catches. It’s not all on Bernard to shut him down, but he needs to quarterback the defense better against Miami this time around.
