Michigan State football extends offer to trending New Jersey TE prospect

Michigan State is the latest power four program to extend an offer to a trending tight end prospect in the 2027 class.

Tommy Douglas of Princeton, N.J. announced on Wednesday that he’s received an offer from Michigan State. Douglas took to social media platform X to announce the notable offer from Michigan State.

Douglas is a tight end prospect in the 2027 class, and plays his high school ball at Hun School. He is listed at 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds.

Douglas is not yet ranked or rated on 247Sports, but I’m sure that will change in good time based on the traction he’s receiving on the recruiting trail. According to 247Sports, Michigan State is now one of eight schools to offer Douglas. The other schools that have extended him an offer includes Auburn, Nebraska, Pitt, Appalachian State, Liberty, Temple and Toledo.
