It’s another high school football Friday in Florida, and with it came another swath of excellent games from fields big and small from Tampa to Tallahassee.
This week saw showdowns between ranked rivals in Miami (Norland vs. Northwestern) and Orlando (Jones vs. Edgewater). We also got top-tier matchups with Raines vs. Lake Mary and Port Charlotte vs. Venice, not to mention Bolles-Bishop Kenny, Buchholz-Manatee and Plant-Tampa Bay Tech.
American Heritage played at the Superdome against Edna Karr, ranked in the USA TODAY Super 25 from Louisiana, while IMG Academy takes on Coronado in Nevada on Saturday.
