Pizza is back in Pittsford Plaza.
Georgio’s Pizza has opened in the 1,889-square-foot space previously occupied by Pizza Stop; it’s between Michaels and Elite Tailor.
The restaurant serves New York-style pizzas by the pie (12 and 18 inches) and by the slice. A gluten-friendly 12-inch cauliflower crust is offered.
It also offers traditional and boneless chicken wings with a choice of 10 sauces as well as a variety of fried appetizers including cauliflower “wings,” spicy green beans, fried banana peppers and Buffalo chicken crunch rolls. On the menu is also a selection of seven salads.
“We’re thrilled to bring a pizza option back to Pittsford Plaza, especially one that’s locally owned androoted in quality,” said Jay Wilmot, Pittsford Plaza general manager. “Georgio’s is a great fit for the property, and we’re confident it’s going to be a spot the community enjoys for years to come.”
Other establishments slated to open in the mall this year are Cinnaholic vegan cinnamon roll bakery, Mamma G’s Italian restaurant, and Ulta Beauty.
Georgio’s Pizza offers both dine-in and take-out service and is open daily for lunch and dinner. Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday.
The Georgio’s website, georgiospizzaroc.com, will be launched in the near future, which will bring online ordering and delivery. In the meantime, get more information or place an order by calling (585) 851-0770.
