Texas A&M baseball lands commitment from an athletic 2027 RHP

Texas A&M has secured another 2027 commitment—one they can shape into a future bullpen asset. On Wednesday, right-handed pitcher Will McIntire from Boyd, Texas, announced via social media that he will begin his collegiate career in Bryan-College Station.

Last season, McIntire posted dominant statistics, finishing with a flawless 10-0 record, a 0.00 ERA, and 94 strikeouts. These achievements earned him the unanimous 10-3A Most Valuable Player award following a deep playoff run. As previously noted, his talents extend beyond pitching—he was also named to the All-State First Team as a first baseman. At the plate, McIntire was equally formidable, boasting a slash line of .411/.471/.566 with 53 hits, 31 RBIs, and two home runs.

Standing 5-foot-11 and weighing 165 pounds, McIntire has room to grow physically and possesses the traits necessary to evolve into a top-tier talent. The Texas A&M coaching staff, led by Michael Earley and Jason Kelly, is emphasizing depth in its pitching rotation by recruiting and developing younger athletes. McIntire’s commitment is a strategic addition to bolster future pitching rosters, and securing high-caliber pitchers like him will be instrumental in maintaining depth and achieving sustained success for Texas A&M’s baseball program.
