The “Love Island Games” 2025 team is set.
Fourteen singles who previously appeared on “Love Island” shows across the world are coming together for the second season of “Love Island Games.”
Who will win the title of love?
“Love Island Games” are set to begin in one week from a gorgeous Fijian villa, the same site where “Love Island USA” films.
The cast, which was revealed on Sept. 9, features a mix of “Love Island” favorites, including three from the messy “Love Island USA season 7” that wrapped up filming in July. A popular islander from season 5 — the season that included two Wisconsinites — is also set to star on the show. And then there are islanders from series in the UK, Australia, the Netherlands and more.
Here’s everything to know about “Love Island Games”:
Love Island Games new season
For the second time, “Love Island” is turning up the heat for a spinoff, “Love Island Games.”
Islanders will again look to form connections, pull islanders for chats and find love. And they’ll do it in Fiji for a shortened-version, game-themed season.
Ariana Madix, who has been the host of the last two seasons of “Love Island USA,” is heading back to the villa as the host of “Love Island Games.”
Love Island Games season 2 release date

How long is Love Island Games?
“Love Island Games” is shorter than your typical “Love Island” season.
Season 1 of “Love Island Games” in the fall of 2023 went just 17 days across 19 episodes so expect something similar for season 2.
By contrast, the previous six “Love Island” UK series each lasted 58 days. Each of the last four seasons of “Love Island USA” has gone 32 days.
Does Love Island have bombshells?
Yes, while 14 islanders will begin the season, several more singles will enter the villa to shake things up just like a normal “Love Island” season.
Bombshells will arrive on the scene throughout the season, looking to find any cracks in relationships and find their own connections. In season 1 of “Love Island Games” there were 26 total islanders with 12 starting as the original cast on Day 1 and 14 entering the game periodically as bombshells.
What’s Love Island Games? How does Love Island Games work?
“Love Island Games” is a spinoff of the popular dating show, “Love Island.” Twenty-two versions of “Love Island” have been produced worldwide. It got its start in the UK in 2015 and expanded to the US in 2019.
The first season of “Love Island Games” took place in November 2023 with Maya Jama serving as the host. “Love Island Games” features singles from all of the editions of Love Island. The concept is the same as your typical “Love Island.” Islanders couple up while looking to survive re-couplings and avoid being dumped from the villa.
There are always challenges, many of which get steamy, on the normal “Love Island.” And “Love Island Games” ups the ante with the competitions.
“They’re getting physical in high-stakes challenges to win the ultimate game of love,” Madix said in a promotional video.
In “Love Island Games” season 1 two years ago, the final three couples competed in duels to determine the winner. Justine Ndiba of “Love Island USA” season 2 and Jack Fowler from the UK series 4 won “Love Island Games” season 1.
Madix said fan votes will determine contestants’ fates.
