The Chicago Bears (0-0) released their inactives ahead of their Week 1 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings (0-0) as they hope to kick off the Ben Johnson era with a win at home. They will have to do it without a few of their best defensive players, however.
Cornerback Jaylon Johnson (groin) is inactive as he continues to recover from the injury that sidelined him all throughout training camp. To make matters worse, cornerback Kyler Gordon (hamstring) is also out after popping up on the injury report Sunday. Linebacker TJ Edwards (hamstring) won’t play as well after coming to this week doubtful. The Bears will need all the help they can get facing Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson.
Here’s a look at the full inactives for both the Bears and the Vikings.
