Top Bears players to draft in fantasy football

With the preseason and roster cuts in the books, it’s time to turn the page and focus our attention on the 2025 NFL regular season. You know what that means: Fantasy football season is upon us.

Football fans everywhere are gearing up for their fantasy football drafts, combing over depth charts and researching potenital breakout players and sleepers to add to their roster. While the Chicago Bears haven’t always had the best fantasy players — given their inept offenses over the years — times are changing with new head coach Ben Johnson running the show.

Chicago has several players who should be coveted in fantasy football drafts, namely at quarterback and pass catchers. With that in mind, here are four Bears players to target in your fantasy football draft:

4. WR Olamide Zaccheaus, WR

There was no bigger standout for the Bears this summer than free-agent addition Olamide Zaccheaus, who quickly became a favorite target for quarterback Caleb Williams. Zaccheaus showcased his potenital as a playmaker in the slot with his impressive preseason touchdown against the Bills. While Zaccheaus is third on the receiver depth chart, he has the potential to thrive in the most important position in Ben Johnson’s offense. If you’re looking for a sleeper, Zaccheaus is your guy.

3. Colston Loveland, TE

The 10th overall pick has the potential to make a significant impact as a rookie. Colston Loveland quickly developed trust with quarterback Caleb Williams, and his impressive route running and pass-catching ability made him a standout this summer. While Cole Kmet might be TE1 right now, many expect Loveland to pass him up sooner than later on the depth chart and become a dependable target for Williams.

2. Rome Odunze, WR

Expectations are high for Rome Odunze entering his second season, where he’s expected to be prominently featured in this Ben Johnson-led offense. Odunze had a solid rookie season with 54 receptions for 734 receiving yards and three touchdowns as the third wideout on the depth chart. Now, Odunze’s role is expected to expand with Johnson calling the shots and as his connection with Caleb Williams continues to flourish. Odunze could potentially pass up DJ Moore as WR1.

1. Caleb Williams, QB

There’s no one who serves to benefit more from the arrival of Ben Johnson than Caleb Williams, who still managed to put up 3,500+ passing yards in the worst situation imaginable during his rookie season. While Chicago won’t shy away from the run game, there will be opportunities for Williams to thrive with play action — and he’s got no shortage of weapons at his disposal.
