EMMET – A 42-year-old Oconomowoc man suffered serious, life-threatening injuries after crashing his motorcycle on County Road CW late Friday night, Aug. 22.
Dodge County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release early Aug. 23 that deputies were dispatched to the crash on County Road CW west of County Road EM in the town of Emmet at around 11:59 p.m. Aug. 22.
Initial investigation, according to the sheriff’s office, shows a 2006 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was headed west on County Road CW when it left the roadway and struck a telephone pole. The driver was ejected from the motorcycle and found by a passerby.
The man was transported to a local hospital before being flown by helicopter to Aurora Medical Center Summit as a result of the extent of his injuries.
Dodge County Sheriff’s Office said it continues to investigate the crash. No further information was immediately released Aug. 23.
