Five Mid-Hudson athletes named all-state in girls lacrosse

Mid-Hudson high schools received four spots on the New York State girls lacrosse all-star teams. The teams were determined by the New York State Sportswriters and Coaches Organization for Girls Sports.

Haley Washall of Wappingers made the Class A second team and teammate Ava Feliciotto made the fourth team. Logan Barry of Minisink Valley made the Class B second team. Bella Alberici of James I. O’Neill and Quinn Ahrenholz of Highland made the Class D second team.

The players of the year are Julia May O’Connor and Molly Hiney (both Saint Anthony’s) in Class A; Brin Gotham (Victor) in Class B; Aubrie Eisfeld and Ava Meyn (both Bayport-Blue Point) in Class C; and, May Soskin and Ryan Reynolds (both Cold Spring Harbor) in Class D.
