While Halloween is weeks away, you may have already spotted an iconic orange banner featuring the Grim Reaper mounted up at a vacant retail space near you.
Spirit Halloween announced it was opening its first 100 stores over the weekend, with dozens more expected to pop up through August. The seasonal store is set to open more than 1,500 stores this fall and specializes in everything Halloween, including the latest costumes, terrifying animatronics, collectibles and more.
The retailer, owned by Spencer’s Gifts, also has 50,000 jobs available ahead of a busy 2025 Halloween season.

Stores usually open in mid-to-late August; however, Spirit Halloween has opened its first 100 stores, according to an Instagram post.
