The sheriff’s department was joined in the search by “multiple assisting agencies,” the release said. Drones were deployed in the area, and police K-9s participated in the efforts to find Black.

The Muncie man is described as 6 feet tall, 200 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

He is “presumed to be armed, and has several active warrants,” the release said.

Anyone seeing a man matching Black’s description should not approach him, deputies said. Instead, they should call 911 or the sheriff’s office at 765-747-7878 immediately.

Black has been convicted of crimes including burglary, possession of meth, theft and false informing.
