On some level, the NFL season is underway, as all 32 teams are in the second or third weeks of their training camp.
On another level, it gets going Thursday with the Hall of Fame Game that kicks off the exhibition season.
That all leads into the Aug. 4 opening of the regular season, starting the 18-week, 17-game run to the playoffs.
