LETTERS: Appleton reader says voucher schools shouldn't be exempt from reporting performance

Even though I did send my kids to parochial schools way back when, I don’t believe voucher schools, private or parochial, should be exempt from reporting “outcome statements” (open records) required from public schools.

Wisconsinites should demand consistent reporting and performance metrics from any school that receives taxpayer funding (vouchers). We need to bring public school funding up to meet rising costs of inflation and discontinue “unaccountable private voucher payouts,” and doing a dis-service to taxpayers in our state.
