White House says WSJ report on Trump being told name in Epstein files "fake news"

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The Wall Street Journal’s report that the Justice Department informed Donald Trump in May about his name being in the Epstein files is a continuation of “fake news stories” against the U.S. president, the White House said on Wednesday.

“This is nothing more than a continuation of the fake news stories concocted by the Democrats and the liberal media,” White House spokesman Steven Cheung said in an emailed statement.
