New traffic patterns will begin on July 25 in McCauley Drive construction zone

UHRICHSVILLE ‒ The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced new traffic patterns for the McCauley Drive construction zone including prohibiting left turns from either direction of U.S. 250 or McCauley Drive.

The updated traffic pattern will be in place after 7 p.m. July 25, once setup is complete. ODOT is replacing concrete pavement in the area. This phase of work is expected to last three weeks.

“ODOT, in close collaboration with the project contractor, Shelly and Sands, Inc., has proactively developed and implemented a strategic traffic plan to minimize future disruptions,” the state agency said in an announcement. “By initiating this next traffic pattern phase, it will save up to four weeks of additional traffic impact phases. This will result in smoother travel conditions and reduce overall inconvenience for residents, commuters, and businesses affected by the project.”

The intersection will operate as right-in, right-out only. There will be no straight-through traffic across U.S. 250 from either side of McCauley Drive.
