FSU is doing everything it can to find some edge talent for the 2026 cycle. They’ve extended offers to LSU Tigers three-star commit DeAnthony Lafayette as well as three-star Gustaf Henriks Ras out of Sweden. Now, they’re heavily in play for another.
Three-star edge Andrew Rodgers was once a 2027 prospect. That all changed recently when he reclassified to the 2026 class. Rodgers has also narrowed his choices down to five schools, which include LSU, the Auburn Tigers, Michigan State Spartans, Virginia Tech Hokies, and Florida State.
Rodgers has also put together an in-season visit schedule and a commitment date.
“I have a couple game day visits lined up and one official visit,” Rogers said via the AuburnUndercover. “I still plan on committing Aug. 22.”
One of the game visits with be when FSU hosts the Pittsburgh Panthers on Oct. 11 in Doak Campbell Stadium. He’ll also take two trips to see the Tennessee Volunteers (which includes his official visit) and Virginia Tech.
Rodgers is 6-foot-6 and weighs 240 pounds. He’s the No. 1,826 overall player, the No. 130 edge, and the No. 63 prospect in North Carolina according to 247Sports composite rankings.
