The Ohio State basketball alumni team known as “Carmen’s Crew,” had a successful first game in its defense of the TBT title on Sunday, and now it moves on to take on a new opponent in Indianapolis to survive and advance to the next round in the winner-take-all tournament that splashed as a sensation just a few years ago.
The No. 1 seed in the region, Carmen’s Crew is set to take on the No. 5 seed Fort Wayne Champs on Monday evening for the right to play in the regional final of The Basketball Tournament.
Though this team isn’t as jam-packed with former Ohio State stars as the last couple that took home the title of the tournament, the namesake is still there, and there are four former Buckeye players still contributing on this year’s team. Carmen’s Crew’s second matchup game is not a part of the cable broadcast package that Fox Sports has outlined. You can only catch the action streaming on YouTube. However, as the team makes it further in the tournament, those games will find their way onto the Fox family of networks, like FS1 and FS2. The championship game, should the team make it there, will be televised on Fox.
