Northbound traffic on Interstate 65 is at a standstill near the Indiana 28/Frankfort exit because a box truck caught fire, Indiana State Police said just before 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 15.
No one was injured in the truck fire, which happened about two miles north of the Frankfort exit, police said.
The truck was hauling paper, police said.
Northbound traffic is being diverted off the interstate at the Frankfort exit, police said.
Traffic in the southbound lane was intermittently shut down when thick smoke blocked visibility, police said. Southbound traffic continued but was slowed, police said.
