The free event will feature music, bounce houses, football, yard games and fireworks (weather permitting). Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Donations of new or like new toys for foster children will be accepted outside the football field. Community members can also make cash donations.

The Ingold Family Foundation Block Party is the first of many major events Ingold’s foundation will be hosting in his hometown, according to a news release.

The former Bay Port star quarterback and Wisconsin Badgers fullback is in his seventh year in the NFL. He signed with the then-Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2019 and has been with the Dolphins since 2022.

The story of how Ingold was adopted at birth by Pat and Chris Ingold was featured during halftime of NBC’s broadcast of the Dolphins-Packers game on Thanksgiving last year. His foundation aims to bring attention and financial support to children in the adoption and foster care system as well as empower underserved youth through lessons learned in sports.

Ingold, 29, was the Dolphins’ 2024 nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award, which recognizes players who excel on the field and create a positive impact beyond the game. It was his third nomination.
