At 10:19 a.m., radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the area in the warning with between 1 and 3 inches of rain having fallen, the weather service said. Up to 2 more inches of rain are possible in the area.

The weather service warns that in hilly terrain, there are hundreds of low-water crossings that are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
