The Pontiac and Livingston County area has gone through quite a heat spell, so getting cool is an important activity. Daily Leader readers had their vote and said that the best place is the Chenoa Pool.
The Chenoa Pool, located at Redbird Park on Morehead Street, has been a busy place this summer in large part because of the very warm weather.
The Chenoa Pool collected 42% of the vote. The Splash Pad in Pontiac drew 31%. CAPS at Chatsworth got 15%. Placing fourth was Odell Pool, 9% of the vote. There were 2,963 votes cast.
Also nominated were Stafford Pool of Fairbury, Pontiac’s Natatorium and the Flanagan Public Pool.
