'We're all excited': Pacers radio broadcaster offers special invitation for Game 7 of the NBA Finals

Mark Boyle has been the Indiana Pacers radio play-by-play voice for decades, and he has just about seen it all with the franchise. But he acknowledges he hasn’t seen this.

He went to social media Sunday morning to offer a public invitation to all Pacers fans to tune in to the radio broadcast for Game 7 of the NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

“I don’t know that I’ve ever done this, but we’ve never experienced a Game 7 of the NBA Finals, either. Forty-nine years ago tomorrow, the Pacers joined the NBA, and they’ve been chasing something that, so far, has been elusive to the point that they haven’t been able to get it: the NBA championship.

“Tonight that opportunity presents itself. We’re all excited. Speaking for myself, I have literally never been nervous before a broadcast, but I suspect I will be tonight. And if we get to the finish line and it looks like the Pacers are going to pull it off, I’ll be more than a little emotional. I hope you’ll bear with me.”

How can I stream, listen to the Pacers vs Thunder in Game 7 on the radio?

93.5 and 107.5 FM in Indianapolis, with Mark Boyle (play-by-play), Eddie Gill (analysis) and Pat Boylan (sideline reporting). Game 7 streaming is on SiriusXM channels 86 (Thunder feed) and 81.
