Myles Bailey had an excellent freshman season for the FSU Seminoles and is set to be a major factor for Link Garrett’s squad in the 2026 season.
The Tallahassee native finished the season red-hot, homering in seven of FSU’s last nine games. The 6-foot-4, 257-pounder ended the season hitting .327 with a .663 slugging percentage, 19 homers, 11 doubles, 56 RBI, and 50 runs scored.
While the 2025 season is still going on, the ACC Network took a chance to look ahead to next season and listed him as one of the “notable potential returners” in the conference for 2026. He was one of eight players to make the list, joining Georgia Tech’s Drew Burress and Alex Hernandes, Miami’s Daniel Covet, North Carolina’s Jason DeCaro and Gavin Gallagher, and Louisville’s Lucas Moore and Zion Rose. Bailey and Hernandez are the only sophomores on the list, and the rest are juniors.
He has already received a significant amount of recognition for his excellent season, making the All-ACC Freshman Team and being named a Freshman All-American by Perfect Game. He will look to take another step as a sophomore as one of the top returning players in the ACC and a key player for the Seminoles at first base.
