Ocala Symphony: Red, White and OSO Blue

This patriotic concert and salute to veterans will begin at 3 p.m. June 29 at the Reilly Arts Center, 500 NE Ninth St., Ocala. Tickets from $10. More at reillyartscenter.com
Fanfares and Fireworks at UF
6-10 p.m. Thursday, July 3, UF Bandshell at Flavet Field, University of Florida campus, 605 Woodlawn Drive. Free entry; food for sale. (https://tinyurl.com/5463f4wz) Live music by Now Leaving Space, Sooza Brass Band, The Savants, the Gainesville Community Band and the Gainesville Pops. Fireworks begin at approximately 9:30 p.m.
Micanopy Fourth of July celebration
The parade begins along Cholokka Boulevard at 11 a.m. Friday, July 4, followed by fun at the ball park, 702 NE Eestaulkee (Third) Ave., from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Fireworks begin about 8:45 p.m. (micanopytown.com/media/1616) This family friendly event also features live music, food and a blow-up obstacle course. Local shops and eateries will be open.
Patriotic Celebration at the Town Square
This event will be 4:30-9:30 p.m. July 4 at Circle Square Commons, 8413 SW 80th St., Ocala. Live music, dancing, food trucks, fireworks. Charge is $20 for parking, cash only. Patriotic Skies
This July 4th celebration will be 6-10 p.m. on Independence Day at Tuscawilla Park, 800 NE Sanchez Ave., Ocala. Live entertainment, family activities, food, and then fireworks starting at 9:30 p.m. Free shuttle service 5-11 p.m. Bring chairs and blankets; no seating provided.
