Michigan State football has entered the race for one of the top defensive lineman in the 2027 class.
George Toia of Fontana, Calif. announced on Monday that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. Toia posted on his social media X account to announce the notable offer from the Spartans.
Toia is a high-end four-star prospect in the 2027 class. The elite defensive lineman prospect holds a recruiting rating of 98.07 in 247Sports’ composite rating system.
Toia ranks as the No. 2 defensive lineman in 247Sports’ composite rankings. He is also listed as the No. 4 player from California and No. 36 overall prospect in the class.
Michigan State is one of more than 20 schools to extend an offer to Toia, according to 247Sports. He also holds notable offers from Arizona State, California, Arizona, Kansas, Miami (FL), Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA, USC, Utah and Washington.
