Many Clinton County roads are flooded and impassable Saturday, officials warn

Clinton County’s emergency management officials have issued a travel advisory for Clinton County effective Saturday because of flooding throughout the county.

Many roads are closed throughout the county because of localized flooding, according to a news release. Those roads include County Road 550 South between 100 East and 200 East; County Road 400 East between county roads 750 South and 730 South; County Road 0 EW between County Road 800 North and Indiana 26; County Road 800 North between county roads 100 East and 200 East; and Indiana 26 west of Indiana 29 to the Clinton/Howard County Line, which officials said is under high water and impassable in spots.A travel advisory is the lowest level advisory, meaning that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.
