Welcome to TCPalm’s Teacher of the Week voting.
TCPalm wants to recognize Treasure Coast teachers making a difference for their students and schools. Readers — parents, administrators, students, community members and other teachers ― nominate their favorite teachers each week. TCPalm lists four nominated teachers, and asks readers to vote for their favorite to be named Teacher of the Week.
The winner of this week’s poll is Melanie Francisco, kindergarten teacher at Palm Pointe K-8 in St. Lucie County.

Melanie Francisco, Palm Pointe K-8, St. Lucie County
What the nominator said: Mrs. Francisco goes above and beyond every day with kindness, love and dedication. She creates a warm, welcoming space where young learners feel safe and excited to grow. She helps the kindergartners learn to read and discover the joy of learning. Her students adore her, and parents are grateful for the care and passion she brings to her classroom. She is truly one of a kind. She cheers on as they sound out a new word and hugs on tough days — she inspires.
Brian Mosblech, Treasure Coast Technical College (TCTC), Indian River County
What the nominator said: Mosblech is a welding instructor at Treasure Coast Technical College. He has the critical role of teaching both dual-enrolled high schoolers and adults the art and science of welding. He is an incredible educator who strives to provide the skills these individuals need to be successful in the workforce but also life. He treats each student with respect and goes above and beyond for his students, acting as a mentor well after they graduate.
Tammy Reinhart, Citrus Grove Elementary, Martin County
What the nominator said: Both of my kids were extremely lucky to have had Mrs. Reinhart as their fifth-grade teacher. She is the teacher who can teach students at whatever level they are at, and gently pushes them to excel so that they are prepared to be successful at middle school. She is smart, fun, energetic and her students love her. She also has the prettiest, most cozy room ever seen for a classroom. We have all stayed in contact with her since leaving CGE.
Roselor Saget, St. Lucie West K-8 School, St. Lucie County
What the nominator said: Mrs. Saget exhibits a genuine care and love for her students. She goes above and beyond to teach them what is required but also skills that will help them become productive and caring human beings. She encourages them each and every day by being that missing adult some students are missing in their life. She gives them hope to want to be and do better and they know this is her expectation of them every day. She is one great teaching rock star!
