A significant construction project in Holland Township will see drivers detouring around a busy area from June to August.
According to an announcement from the Ottawa County Road Commission, Beeline Road between James Street and Felch Street (including the intersection of Beeline and James Street by North Holland Cemetery) will be closed for a sanitary sewer installation project beginning June 6.
The road is currently expected to reopen around Aug. 9, weather and work dependent. In the meantime, it will be closed to thru-traffic.
The detour is James Street to 136th Avenue to Riley Street to 128th Avenue.
