With the postseason starting to heat up and five fiercely competitive rounds of playoff action now officially in the books, it’s time to turn the page to the state championship round of the 2025 Texas high school softball playoffs.
The Lone Star State’s top teams on the softball diamond will compete in the UIL Softball State Championship games on Thursday-Saturday, May 29-31, at the University of Texas’ Red & Charlene McCombs Field in Austin.
Here’s a closer look at all how every state semifinal playoff matchup featuring Big Country teams played out during the fifth round of the 2025 UIL Softball Playoffs, and an early look at UIL state championship playoff pairings:
