Florida State has already gotten several defensive back prospects committed in their top-ranked 2027 recruiting class. Earlier this week, the Seminoles extended an offer to another position. The recipient was three-star running back Victor Scott.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder has offers from schools such as the Georgia Bulldogs, Oregon Ducks, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Texas A&M Aggies, and more. The 247Sports composite rankings have Scott as the No. 341 overall prospect and the No. 25 running back in the country. He’s also the No. 42 player in Texas.
Scott was originally listed as an athlete. However, as a sophomore, Scott played all his snaps at the running back position. His athletic ability isn’t just limited to the football field either as he stars in track and field for Lancaster High School as well.
Scott is the latest in a plethora of running backs the Seminoles have their eyes on in the 2027 recruiting cycle. The others include Christian Alexander, Andrew Beard, Asa Barnes, Deron Foster, and Jakeyveon Parker.
