Ogden man fatally shot in Rochester identified

Rochester police have identified the man shot to death on Orchard Street last week.

Richard Gollwitzer, 36, of Ogden was shot at least once in the upper body outside 367 Orchard St. around 9:45 p.m. on May 8, said Capt. Frank Umbrino of the Rochester Police Department. Arriving officers found Gollwitzer’s body in a wooded area on the north side of the building. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No charges have been filed in connection with the homicide.
