Club 25 honors the inspiring lives of 25 Women you Need to Know and 5 Young Women to Watch

The 2025 class of the 25 Women You Need to Know and 5 Young Women to Watch are graduating into Club 25.

The alumni organization represents an esteemed group of more than 500 women and young women, who have been recognized as part of the Tallahassee Democrat’s annual community celebration, which began in 2006.

Club 25’s mission is to harness the power of these amazing women and continue to do what they do best, help others in our community.

To close out the month-long celebration of these women servant leaders and their inspiring stories, Club 25 is hosting a sold-out reception Thursday night. The event was made possible by contributions from The Event Space, Jeri’s Catering and Touched by a Rose Events.

While we often identify the honorees by their professions, they are so much more with lives of volunteering and service. These are people who have taken chances, broken barriers, helped others and made Tallahassee a better place to live, work and raise a family.

And while we often look to our youth as the future, this year’s nominees demonstrate that their impressive acts of leadership and service are very much in the present.

In the links below, you will find the profiles of the 25 Women and 5 Young Women, which started on March 16 in the newspaper and online at tallahassee.com/25women.

As the organizers of the event said, “Club 25 is more than a milestone — it’s a movement! Welcome to the sisterhood.”
