Junior center Malique Ewin was a rising star for Florida State men’s basketball during the 2024-25 season. He has now put his name into the NCAA transfer portal, per a report by Joe Tipton of On3.
Ewin finished his only season at FSU as the second-leading scorer, averaging 14.2 points and 7.6 rebounds a game in 30 games. At 6-foot-11, 230 pounds, Ewin led the ACC in field-goal percentage at 59.6.

Throughout his college career, Ewin has bounced around. He began his career at Ole Miss, where he appeared in 10 games before he went the JUCO route and became the top-rated prospect at South Plains Community College. He also had a brief stint at USF but didn’t play.
Ewin is the ninth Seminole to enter the transfer portal following the 17-15 season. FSU has two players signed from the portal as well.
