On this episode of Live United, Brent Gillette, Executive Director of United Way of St. Clair County speaks with the Event Coordinator of the Yale Area Chamber of Commerce, Barbara Stasik.
Barb speaks about the Yale Area Chamber of Commerce, working with local businesses and hosting events like the Yale Bologna Festival.
The Yale Bologna Festival has been going for over thirty years, which attracts 20 – 30 thousand people annually. Unfortunately, the Yale Bologna Festival has been canceled this year due to Covid-19, but are looking forward to bringing the festival back in 2022.
The Yale Area Chamber of Commerce’s next event, Home Town Freedom Day, will take place on September 11. It will be a day to honor local veterans, firefighters, and police. There will also be children rides, live music, and everyone’s favorite fried bologna sandwich.
