WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. is expected to introduce new sanctions this week against the Maduro regime in Venezuela, an Axios reporter said in a post on X on Tuesday, citing two U.S. officials.
The U.S. State Department could announce the first round of sanctions on Wednesday, according to the reporter.
