May 31 (Reuters) – The U.S. conducted strikes on Iranian radar and command and control sites for drones in Iran’s Goruk and Qeshm Island over the weekend, the military said late on Sunday.
The strikes were in response to “aggressive Iranian actions that included the shootdown of a U.S. MQ-1 drone that was operating over international waters,” the U.S. Central Command said in a post on X.
