MADISON – The Wisconsin football team will have an open practice Aug. 18 at Camp Randall Stadium.
The practice begins at 7 p.m. It is free to the public and will mark fans’ first opportunity to see the team in action since the end of last season. The practice will last about two hours.
Gates open at 6 p.m. and warmups start at 6:30. Fan must enter the stadium through Gates 9 and 10 on Breese Terrace and sit on the west side of the stadium. The first 1,000 fans will receive a roster card.
One concession stand will be open and will have a nearly full menu available, including alcohol.
The Badgers, who have held a portion of fall camp at UW-Platteville the past three seasons, are preparing for the season on campus this year.
