SHEBOYGAN COUNTY – The days of August are ticking by, which means the start of the 2025-2026 school year is quickly approaching.
Private schools in the area will have an earlier start date than public school districts.
4K to 12th grade students at Sheboygan Christian School will start Aug. 19, and 3K students will return Aug. 25.
Students attending Sheboygan Lutheran High School will return for a half-day Aug. 20 and the first full day of school Aug. 21.
Public school districts across the county will start school after Labor Day weekend. The School District of Howards Grove began the school year before the holiday weekend for the 2024-2025 school year, and school districts for Sheboygan Falls and Cedar Grove-Belgium have also started earlier in the past.
