A new season of Wisconsin Badgers basketball is here.
First, is the exhibition schedule.

And the opener against Oklahoma should provide Greg Gard’s team with a good test for what is expected to be a challenging non-conference slate. The matchup with the Sooners on Oct. 24 is part of the Bad Boy Mowers Series that will be played at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.
It’s only the second-ever exhibition game against a Division I opponent. It’s also the first of two games Wisconsin will play in Milwaukee this season. The other will be part of the Milwaukee Hoops Showdown Dec. 19 against Villanova.
Wisconsin, ranked No. 24 in the Associated Press preseason poll, is coming off a season in which it won 27 games and advanced to the Big Ten tournament title game and the second round of the NCAA tournament. The Badgers will be led by returning guard John Blackwell, who earned a spot on the All-Big Ten preseason team.
