Here are the candidates:
Matthew Koenig, Howards Grove football: Koenig ran the ball 21 times for 138 yards, including a 37-yard touchdown, in an 18-8 win over Valders on Aug. 21.
Izzy Brault, Sheboygan North girls tennis: Brault won her No. 1 singles match against Oak Creek 6-1, 6-1 on Aug. 20. The Golden Raiders prevailed 5-2 as a team.
Mason Staudinger, Valders football: Staudinger had a 51-yard touchdown run and 116 total yards on 19 carries in the loss to Valders.
Megan Lamers, Roncalli/Two Rivers girls tennis: The co-op defeated New London 7-0 on Aug. 18 with Lamers prevailing at No. 1 singles 6-0, 6-0.
