How much will you spend on a tank of gas in the Fox Cities?
As of June 18, prices in the region continue to fall, with an average price in Outagamie County of $3.82, according to AAA, though that is down 14 cents from last Thursday’s average.
This is fairly close to most of the prices Post-Crescent staffers found around the Fox Cities.
While this is down from a month ago when we started this series and saw prices as high as $4.69, it’s still almost a dollar per gallon higher than the Appleton average from a year ago: $2.89.
We collected a sampling of fuel prices during our morning commutes, and added some context for each location, and traffic data from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
