It's sweet corn season. Here are some stands to visit in the Milwaukee area

It’s sweet corn season again. And we’ve got you covered.

Many farmers in the Milwaukee suburbs sell sweet corn as well as other in-season produce. In addition to farmers markets, there are many stands and fresh produce farms to find sweet corn.

Craigland Farms, Big Bend

Where: Mobil gas station parking lot at W230 S8715 Clark St.

Where: Two locations: Donges Bay Road and Wauwatosa Road and on Port Washington Road near the Chalet Motel of Mequon, 10401 N. Port Washington Road.

Craigland Farms, Mukwonago

Where: There are two Craigland Farms locations in Mukwonago. One is on the farm at S110 W26660 Craig Ave. and the other is on Bay View Drive next to Sherwin-Williams at 60 Bay View Road.

When: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily for the one on Bay View Drive. The one on the farm is self-serve and open 24/7.

Salentine Family Farm

Hours: The stand is self-service from noon to dark (around 8 p.m.). It is then staffed from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
