The Green Bay Packers got four touchdown passes from Jordan Love, two touchdown catches from Dontayvion Wicks and 2.5 sacks from Micah Parsons in a 31-24 win over the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day from Ford Field.
The Packers jumped out to a 10-0 lead on Wicks’ first touchdown catch of the game and then held leads of 17-7, 24-14 and 31-21 before holding on to the seven-point win late. Big plays helped, including a Parsons sack on third down in the red zone and Wicks’ fourth down conversion from Love late.
Matt LaFleur’s team has now won three straight games, including back-to-back games against the NFC North. The Packers also swept the Lions for the first time since 2020. Now 8-3-1, Green Bay is in a terrific spot in the division and playoff races with five games to go.
