The Green Bay Packers got 2.5 sacks from Micah Parsons and three fourth conversions from Jordan Love, including the dagger completion to Dontayvion Wicks with under two minutes to go, to beat the Detroit Lions at Ford Field on Thanksgiving Day.
The 31-24 victory improved the Packers to 8-3-1 overall and 3-0 against the NFC North, and the Packers swept the Lions for the first time since 2020.
Love threw two touchdown passes on fourth down and four touchdown passes overall, and Parsons led a defense that delivered two fourth down stops and a critical red zone stop in the fourth quarter.
The Packers led 7-0 early and never trailed. Matt LaFleur’s team held a 10-point lead for big portions of the contest.
Wicks caught six passes for 94 yards and two scores and Christian Watson caught a 51-yard touchdown. The game-deciding play came on 4th-and-2 near midfield with under two minutes to go. Under pressure, Love faded away and found Wicks — who lost a shoe in the process of making the catch — for a 16-yard completion.
Love and Parsons were the Thanksgiving Day stars — a familiar spot for both players.

The Packers now get the mini-bye to rest and recover before hosting the Chicago Bears — who play on Black Friday against the Philadelphia Eagles — in Week 14.
