For Green Bay Packers fans, the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft had the buzz of an airplane engine.
But the 2026 draft, not so much.
Last April’s NFL draft was at Lambeau Field, so the Packers’ first pick was among the most anticipated in team history. However, this season, the draft is in Pittsburgh and Green Bay doesn’t have a pick in the first round Thursday night, April 23 due to the trade for Micah Parsons last season.
So unless the Packers make an unexpected trade to move up, fans will have to wait until Friday night, April 24, when Green Bay has the 52nd overall pick in the second round and the 84th overall pick in the third round.
NFC North rivals Detroit, Minnesota and Chicago all pick in the first round. The Lions hold the 17th pick, the Vikings pick 18th and the Bears pick 25th.
