As the volleyball season approaches in Wisconsin, it’s time to take a look at some of the most productive Wausau-area prospects entering the 2026 season.
With stars spread out across Central Wisconsin, this is will specifically spotlight standout athletes within the Wausau area that finished last season earning all-conference honors. .
Here is a look at 16 area prospects worthy of your attention ahead of the 2026 season.
Karly Eckert, Athens: Eckert earned an all-conference honorable mention in the MaraWood league after collecting 92 kills, 30 serving aces and 251 digs for Athens.
Brynley Louis, Athens: Louis posted the second most kills (131) on the Athens roster while adding 41 serving aces and a team-high of 282 digs en route to an honorable mention on the Marawood North all-conference team.
Naquene Ellenbecker, Edgar: Ellenbecker’s first team all-conference efforts in the Marawood South included posting 202 kills, 61 serving aces and 261 digs for the Wildcats in 2025.
Makita Ellenbecker, Edgar: Ellenbecker earned a second team all-conference honor in the Marawood South after posting 223 kills for a team-best and 37 digs.
Katelyn Love, Marathon: Love tallied 238 kills, 41 serving aces and a team-high of 300 digs en route to a second team all-conference honor in the Marawood South,
Mayven Schneider, Marathon: Schneider collected 53 kills, 45 serving aces and 190 digs en route to honorable mention in the Marawood South.
Brinly Stencil, Marathon: Stencil returns for Marathon after posting 74 kills, 48 serving aces, 213 digs last season en route to an all-conference honorable mention in the Marawood South.
Lexi Rice, Newman Catholic: Rice earned first team all-state recognition after posting 49 kills, 84 serving aces and 250 digs in Newman Catholic’s 2025 state run. She also earned a second team all-conference spot in the Marawood South.
Maddy Keene, Newman Catholic: Keene earned a all-conference honorable mention in the Marawood South after tallying 265 kills, 10 serving aces and 124 digs.
Ella Eckhoff, D.C. Everest: Eckhoff posted 392 kills which finished as a team-best while adding 40 serving aces and 293 digs en route to a first team all-conference selection in the WVC.
Brooke Johnson, D.C. Everest: Johnson finished with 157 kills, 30 serving aces and 33 digs in 2025, earning a second team all-conference mention in the WVC.
Tatum Arndt, D.C. Everest: Arndt earned a honorable mention in the WVC after posting 30 kills, 40 serving aces and 208 digs in 2025.
Carlee Bloom, Wausau West: Bloom collected 141 kills and 27 digs in 2025 en route to a second team all-conference mention in the WVC for the Warriors.
Ella Bohlin, Wausau West: Bohlin led the Wariors with a team-high of 208 kills, the second-most aces with 39 and 209 digs in 2025 en route to a honorable mention in the WVC.
Ava Ngo, Wausau West: Ngo earned a all-conference honorable mention after posting 19 kills, 23 serving aces and 217 digs in 2025.
Bridget Frye, Mosinee: Frye earned a all-state honorable mention after finishing 2025 with the second-most kills on the team with 293, a team-high in serving aces with 65 and 238 digs.
Pacyn Stoffel, Mosinee: Stoffel earned a all-state honorable mention after leading Mosinee in kills (420) as freshman while adding 39 serving aces and 238 digs in 2025.
