Coldplay is bringing its ‘Music of the Spheres’ tour to the El Paso Sun Bowl this week, with thousands of fans attending two nights of sold-out performances.
Doors open at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14, but if you want to grab a bite to eat in the Sun City before the show, dozens of restaurants and fast food spots are nearby that are sure to satisfy any craving.
From juicy burgers to sizzling pizza, hearty salads and savory ramen, here’s where you can grub before Coldplay hits the stage.
Mesa Street Grill
The local spot offers fine dining at an affordable price. About a mile from the Sun Bowl, you’ll find burgers cooked to your liking, towering salads and fresh sandwiches.
Menu highlights include a “Wagyu Smashed Burger” topped with crispy jalapenos, and steak tacos stuffed with grilled rib-eye steak, fresh guacamole, and pico de gallo.

Crave Kitchen and Bar
The casual dining restaurant near the University of Texas at El Paso is a local favorite, offering options such as strawberry-stuffed French toast for breakfast, a hot-honey chicken sandwich for lunch, and green chile chicken and waffles for brunch.
There’s also a kids’ menu with $8 food options, including mac and cheese, fish sticks, and chicken tenders.

Orange Cow Burgers
The burger spot is often compared to El Paso’s own In-N-Out Burger, with its simple, yet juicy menu items that include one, two, or three patties and your choice of bun or lettuce wrap.
Orange Cow Burgers is also one of the highest-rated burger joints in El Paso, based on Yelp reviews. With two locations in Sun City, its North Mesa location is minutes away from the Sun Bowl.

Rib Hut
If you’re in the mood for Texas barbecue, this spot serves everything from tender, honey-glazed pork ribs to smoked chicken and crumbled bacon burgers. There are three locations in El Paso, with one right across from the Sun Bowl.

There’s also a vegan menu featuring a plant-based burger and tofu bowl. The local chain has grown to multiple locations, with one location minutes away from the Sun Bowl.

Ardovino’s Pizza
Ardovino’s Pizza opened its doors in 1961 at its Cincinnati Street location as an Italian gourmet food mart and offers build-your-own or house favorite pizzas.
House favorites include a five-cheese pizza, a Mediterranean pizza, or try the “Royal,” a white pizza with five cheeses, Genoa salami, pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and fresh tomatoes.
The restaurant has five locations in El Paso, and its original Cincinnati location is near the Sun Bowl.
