The Cam Coleman saga is officially over, and the former five‑star wideout is headed to Austin, where he’ll team up with Arch Manning for the 2026 season. If Manning looks anything like he did down the stretch, that pairing has the potential to be one of the most dangerous in the country — and Texas A&M will need to be ready when the two programs meet on November 30.
The Aggies had remained firmly in the mix throughout Coleman’s recruitment, hoping to pair the No. 1 receiver in the portal with rising stars Mario Craver and Ashton Bethel‑Roman. But after a tightly guarded process and multiple visits, the Longhorns ultimately won out.

There were signs A&M’s staff sensed Coleman might be leaning elsewhere. Rather than waiting around or putting all their eggs in one basket, they continued to host top‑tier portal receivers. The Aggies are firmly in the mix for the No. 2 wideout in the portal, Isaiah Horton, with strong mutual interest, and they recently brought in Dre’lon Miller for a visit as well.
Time will tell how the board shakes out, but Texas A&M is still positioned to land a talented receiver in Alabama transfer Isaiah Horton. Missing out on Coleman stings, but contingency plans are in place, and the Aggies should remain in a strong spot at the position heading into the 2026 season.
The NCAA transfer portal window opened Jan. 2 and runs through Jan. 16.
