After having the week off and a wild week on the national level, the Texas Tech football team didn’t have much movement in the national rankings.
The Red Raiders (4-0) remained No. 14 in the US LBM Coaches Poll, released Sunday, the same spot Tech held after last week’s 34-10 win over Utah. Iowa State remains the lone Big 12 Conference team ahead of the Red Raiders, coming in at No. 12.
The Coaches Poll is rounded out by three other Big 12 teams in No. 23 BYU, No. 24 Arizona State and No. 25 Utah. Ohio State remained at No. 1 while Oregon used its win at Penn State to climb to No. 2.
Texas Tech returns to action this week with a road trip to Houston on Oct. 4.
In the Associated Press Top 25, Texas Tech moved up a spot to No. 11, sandwiched between Alabama and Georgia. Iowa State is 14th, BYU 23rd and Arizona State 25th.
